Muay Thai
The art of eight limbs.

Known as “the art of eight limbs”, Muay Thai uses fists, elbows, knees and shins — one of the most complete striking systems in the world. We run beginner and advanced Muay Thai through the week, whether you're here for fitness, self-defence or to compete.
The art of eight limbs
Muay Thai is Thailand's national combat sport, built around eight points of contact — fists, elbows, knees and shins — plus the clinch, where fighters control range at close quarters. It rewards conditioning and technique over raw size, which is part of why it works so well as fitness training, self-defence and a competitive sport all at once. It's demanding, but it's built to be learned in stages rather than thrown at you all at once.
Inside a class
A session opens with a group warm-up, then moves into footwork and stance before building into combinations — jab, cross, kicks, knees and elbows. From there it's pad work and drilling in pairs, matched so nobody's out of their depth, with beginners and more experienced members training side by side. Sparring isn't part of the early weeks: it's introduced gradually, stays light, and only enters the picture once you're properly ready for it.
Who it's for
No experience is needed to start — most people walk in as complete beginners, and that's exactly what the 6-week beginner course is built for. Whether you're training for general fitness, practical self-defence, or want to work toward competing, the same starting point gets you moving in the right direction. Beginner and advanced Muay Thai run through the week, so once you've found your feet there's always a class waiting at the next level.
How the beginner course works
Weeks 1–2
Stance, footwork and the jab–cross — build coordination and confidence.
Weeks 3–4
Kicks, knees and defence — start putting combinations together.
Weeks 5–6
Pad work, combinations, light partner drills and an intro to the clinch.
